
About the International Meeting on Teacher Education
The "International Meeting on Teacher Education" (IMTE) is a Europe wide network with focus on exchange on the challenges and developments in teacher education, to strengthen existing and initiate new cooperations. The members of the IMTE network are from Austria, Danmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland. The first annual meeting was in 2018, hosted by the University of Cologne. In 2019, the second meeting was again hosted by the University of Cologne and took place at Schloß Wahn. Due to the Corona pandemic, 2020 the meeting was conducted digitally. Currently we are planning for the meeting in 2021, hosted by the University of Luxembourg.
The IMTE office is based with the "Support of Young Researchers" in the "Future Strategy for Teacher Education". For further information please contact it via imte-office(at)uni-koeln.de .
Current announcement
In 2021, due to Corona and the various ways it has (and still is) influencing our work and our lifes, all planned IMTE activities have been canceled. For more information please contact the IMTE office.
