The "International Meeting on Teacher Education" is a Europe wide meeting that started in 2018. The focus lies on the German-speaking countries, the Benelux countries, and Scandinavia. Already existing cooperations should be strengthened and new cooperations initiated. After the successful start in 2018, the University of Cologne is once more host of this meeting in 2019. This year, approximately 50 participants from 15 universities in nine european countries will discuss the “Benefits and Challenges of Digitalisation”. The aim is to start an exchange on possible benefits of digitalisation as well as on its challenges and how those reflect on teaching, learning, and teacher education.
The meeting is organized by the "Support of Young Researchers" in the "Future Strategy for Teacher Education" and the "International Programme Committee" of IMTE. For further information please contact the local organisators via imte-2019(at)uni-koeln.de .
